CA-38, San Francisco Advanced Search

Hi All......apparently I don't have rights to conduct an advanced search on this site, have tried many times but am constantly refused. Can anybody enlighten me on this? Have I been blacklisted for some past-life transgressions perhaps?

At any rate I'm trying to install Talon's Marianas campaign and he calls for the VN ship SanFran, which I take it, is the CA-38 San Francisco...and which I can't find anywhere. I've checked every ship site I know of, including here, of course, and it's just not there. Is this an older download that's gone missing perhaps? As much as I like surfin' da web, I much prefer flyin' planes so will put this campaign on hold and hit the wild blue yonder 'til I can figure this out.

Looks like most have been lost.I don't even see them in the archives anymore.

I have most of the VN ships including what you're looking for.I will start uploading what I have in a few days.

Thanks Talon. Too bad about what happened here.....hopefully it can't ever happen again. I'll look forward to your uploads. I like the way you've done your campaigns....thank you for the hard work, and for getting back to me so fast.

BTW

There will be a new Marianas Campaign coming out at the end of summer.It will also include The USN invasion of Letye,strikes on Hollandia and Maybe Truk.So far over 50 missions are done.

She was a New Orleans class CA, if memory serves. Just download the vn New Orleans and go into the cfg file, rename her SanFran or whatever you want? (also change the folder name as well so you don't misplace it.

I've been reworking missions and campaigns for years using my own, personal system for maning ships and aircraft. After you've done it a few times ... it gets like popcorn. If you need help ... send me a PM.

Alpha, I have found that the people on this site are prompt and will bend over backwards to be helpful, which is one of the main reasons this sim will be going strong when the others have faded.
