CAF Alpha Jets

CG_1976

Ret. US Coastie/RCAF
Was a while back a KBT gave us FSX a fine external T-4. Well I remeber the Alpha jet came up, so I sent word to our FOL at Iqaluit and they sent this to me.

Wouldn't they be nice to have in FSX.. gorgeous planes with a pretty paint job :)

Techincally speaking they are not CAF or Canadian Forces at all though. They belong to Top Aces Inc which is a civvy contractor staffed by ex-CAF pilots that does jet training for the military. They have 16 Alphas based in Bagotville. Note the civilian C reg and the word "Aces" on the tail.

Oh yeah, the people being trained in them are military pilots. I was just saying that the military does not actually own the planes. It even says on the 414 site that the military "contracts a company to provide civilian piloted, two seat Dassault/Dornier Alpha Jets".

I am really not wanting, or trying to argue. I think they are great planes and the scheme is interesting and attractive. I would love to have them in game. I was just pointing out that the trainees may be CF, but the planes are not.

The Alpha Jet has been a long standing favorite of mine. It would be great to have an updated FSX native, but the original has done a great job of staying the course so far. This scheme would look great to be sure.:salute:
