Caffiers Collection

IanP

Didn't quite escape.
It seems that no matter how much I loathe and detest Gmax, I get no choice but to keep scuffling with it. This time, seeing as my attempts at making an Opel Blitz are utterly unpublishable, I took on something easier and more angular.

It's not perfect, but meet the family (with one exception and one twin, because I'm a muppet).

The textures, currently, are almost entirely the line drawings I used to model the vehicle and the wheels are scanned from a model box. Obviously I'll need to do something about that, but hey, it's better than nothing, right?

The half-tracks and Flakvierling are the ones previously mentioned as being purchased meshes - I haven't even tried to texture the Flak yet - but as you can see, there's a little more vehicular selection scattered around Caffiers now than there was. :)

The Kubelwagen comes in five guises - closed, canopy, windows, screen up, screen down. There are transparency issues with it that I can't resolve, no matter what I try, but it's good enough for a scenery model, so I'm not bothering with them right now.

Just a heads up in case anyone is interested... I don't suppose anyone is willing to take on texturing them, are they? It's a single sheet texture and I've left the line drawings as a layer on the PSD, to act as a guide...

(P.S. It's A2A's Bf109, that definitely isn't mine!!! ;))
