Cal Worthington passed away sunday afternoon at his ranch in Orland Cal after watching a football game with family and friends.this is the car dealer who was famous for "Me and my dog Spot" ,and then a tiger,lion,monkey,,or even an elephant or something wild would show up next to him on the hood of the car or in front of it.

i put this here instead of the cantina because ole Cal was a world war two vet,flew as PIC in 29 missions in a B-17 with the 390BG.he was awarded the "Air medal" 5 times..and received the distinguished flying cross from Doolittle himself.

he was also a aerobatic pilot and trained astronauts in flight training...

As sad as it is, thanks for the news Daveroo.

Cal has been a fixture on Anchorage TV since the 70s.

He will be missed by many.
