Callan has left us.

*que the theme song from the Equalizer ... *

Thanks for all the memories Sir!

R.I.P. :engel016:

Not to mention his role as Breaker Morant, one of the most beautifully filmed movies of all AND The Ghost of Christmas Past with George C. Scott...

He was really one for the books.

RIP

Marc

He really was the 'Breaker', and captured Kit Denton's character straight off the written page.
But he will always be Callan first and foremost to me.

He really was an "Actor's actor", in my opinion.

I remember first seeing him first in "Breaker Morant". A great movie, but definitely one I've never been able to watch again. I think he should have been nominated at the very least for an Oscar for that one.

He did a great job as the "Ghost of Christmas Present" with George C. Scott in "A Christmas Carol".

But I'll have to always remember him as Robert McCall, "The Equalizer". What a great show that was, especially with the former spy storyline always lurking in the background.

Thank you for all of the wonderful roles and memories, Sir. God bless you Edward Woodward. :engel016:
