Calling all animal lovers....

I feel like I'm on 4chan right now, because someone just summoned the powers of "anon". :salute:

Well, since you took the time to make it easy on us, I voted. Anyone that is willing to take on rediculous amounts of animals to help is fine by me.

As a vegetarian for over 30 years, I rescue animals every day.

Broccoli ... it's what's for dinner. What non-rescued animal parts are on your plate tonight?

You know, with all these threads of yours, Cloud9Gal, one could put a fair psych profile together on most regular participants.

I sent an email to Carol & Chip letting them know to expect a little lift from the SOH members' vote. They were very grateful and asked me to tell you a big thank you on their behalf.

So THANK YOU guys! Your daily vote will make a difference!

Chacha~ You are correct! Almost Heaven is in 2nd place for most votes in the state of WV. Thank you for taking the time to vote!

DD26, Snuffy, Dogknot, Gig, Wombie, lifejogger, jmig, Brian Gladen, Bjoern, papab, Tig, boxcar and GT~ I give you all a big hug for voting. It means a lot!
And Tig, I never thought I'd see the day when I would actually hug you :bump:

And now we come down to a little cutie pie by the name of Hannah a.k.a. Little Chacha~ Now that little girl takes the cake! 4 votes in ONE day! A big SUPER DUPER

Thank you to you Hannah Doodle! You Rock Girl!

And I'll second what Piglet said about helping local shelters. We help at a local horse rescue not with money, but with our time. We found the place and got one of our horses from there and continue once a week or so to go over there for a few hours and help out with whatever she needs. Most of the time it's just working with the horses but that's something that the owner doesn't have enough time for as she's busy running the place. And we have a blast doing it too.

Call me paranoid (ok not that fast!) That's prolly what she/he is doing. Making me think twice about answering more of those "questions" in the future.

Boxcar, no flaming here, just a question. Plants are living creatures, and it's a well-known fact that plants recognize pain. Who rescues and saves plants from you?

Not flaming but, surely a little $hit stirring? ;)

However boxcar, in Tigs defense, you did sort throw a gauntlet down with your post. I bet more than one person sat on his fingers before tig jumped over.

But mostly only when there's injustice done to cats.

I dunno. /b/ finds out about things before most anyone knows, and I've seen anon go after stuff and destroy it when it has nothing to do with cats. Sooner or later /b/tards will become a cult. There probably are cultlike groups of /b/tards that meet up in towns and be creepy together.

One may know more about a person by the way they are treating animals than by the way they treat other people.
Heart/gut-wrenching story in that link, Bjoern. Glad you posted it. Would adopt that cat if I could & that's the truth.

Incidentally, there is a fine group here in my little community called Friends of Pets whom do outstanding work locally
though they are apparently not officially registered to be found & voted for. Hence, have been voting for another fine
organization I am aware of for many years: the Panhandle Humane Society in Scottsbluff.

(Note To Self ... and others)

It keeps track of your "once a day" voting habit by use of a cookie, (naturally.) If you run a cookie deleting program like CrapCleaner after voting, you can vote again. Run CC, vote again. Run CC vote again ... Yesterday I voted 4 times from the work puter, just to make sure I wasn't imagining things.

That's probably the only way you're going to catch that Ritchie place. :wiggle:
