Just to highly recommend an article in the current edition of Flyer magazine (http://www.flyer.co.uk- there is a version available on iPAD). Written for pilots by ex-BBMF Lancaster pilot Stuart Reid, who was for many years the Bomber Captain for BBMF, and flew PA474 down the Derwent valley for the Dambusters 65th Anniversary, it puts you in the pilot seat with Stuart beside you as co-pilot and instructor. If you want to find out what it's really like to fly a Lanc, this is an excellent article with much detail about boost and rev settings etc. Then go try them out on your own FS Lanc model and find out how accurate it is !

There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
