Calling All North Carolinians ( you too, Caz )........

I'll try to get some pics up later today - I forgot to bring sunscreen and now I'm crispy! It was an honor meeting LD, QS, and QS Jr!
 
The honor was all mine, Tom.:salute: It was great to meet you guys in person, too... and you were quite toasty when you left... I ended up with the "Raccoon Tan" thing from wearing my Boonie hat....
 
I've gone every year since I was 5, except for this year. My grandmother fell and broke her knee, so we had to spend the weekend in Monroe. It's not as good as it used to be, though.
 
Sorry I missed you guys, a buddy called up and I opted for the Richmond race Saturday night and stayed over, had to, for once I got to be designated drunk. :icon_lol:

And my man won, so that just made the drinking double-down. Didn;t get back to Ringgold until near noon yesterday, so the airshow was out time-wise and for lack of finances.

James, sorry to hear about your Grandmother. I hope she mends quickly. Perhaps we can meet next year, buddy...

It was fun meeting more SOH'ers.........Quicksand, Quicksand Jr., Tom and I made quite the quartet ! :jump: We need to work on more of these get-togethers !!!!

I'm finally feeing better after getting downright crispy in the sun. I still need to resize a few of the pics I took and post here. I only occurred to me after I got home that somebody should have handed a camera to one of the volunteers to get a group pic of the four of us! :banghead:
