Camping, real soon!

When I get back from Indy, I plan on doing some camping! Had the top of my camper refinished, and waterproofed......

I live near the Ocoee River (Ducktown, TN), and there's plenty of great camping sites.

I think your dog will be very comfortable. Where will you be sleeping?

Camping in that would be great....

There was a teardrop builder here in Phoenix. Got to check out a couple. I had never seen one before. Wild little things...

I say put a front axle on it, steering wheel in there, and an engine and make it driveable! :d

EDIT: Maybe a windshield....

That is a nice little unit. I know you will enjoy yourself. Keep in touch and share the moments with us.

My, my Chief, luxury camping!

I go into the Smokies with nothing more than a tent and don't use that if it doesn't rain. :icon_lol:

I remember your earlier posts on the teardrop camper. I know it sparked a lot of interest around here.

I've been kicking around an idea to build one, but it won't be for a while. I decided that if I do build it, it will need to have a lower compartment to haul my kayak. This means it'd be bigger than your typical teardrop.

Anyhow, happy camping!

Yes, the camper is quite comfortable to sleep in, but "Chief" doesn't sleep in it. He gets his own tent, because he farts too much, and drives me out!

I loved camping!

Growing up, that was one of our favorite things to do during the summer weekends! We'd pack our tent, sleeping bags and the rest of the camping gear, and we'd head out to one of the many camping sites in the area.

Being a country girl and the daughter of a Forest Ranger, I had no problems "roughing it". :)

Bondfires, campfires, roasted marshmallows, hot dogs on a wooden stick, etc, etc, etc..

Once again, this thread brought up great childhood memories.

Thanks NC and have fun! Stay safe!
