Can an .api macro be compiled into a .bgl file?

Hi
Apis are compiled into bgls using programs like airportforwindows.
Some apis can be decopiled with programs like modelconverterx and then compiled with programs like gmax for your own personal use, or you can use the decompiled model as a template for your own work.you can also ask the original author for permission to use there work in the way you want.
What do you want to compile from api to bgl as the model may exist.
