Can anyone guess?

Lots of folks probably won't even be interested in using these fields since the swap out- old mesh/masks for new is pretty substantial. But if you are interested in an ever growing theater of airfields in the exotic surroundings provided by Rhumbas Mesh/masks then these will be fun airfields to have.

Hi Mask, Once one gets past the D/L stage, it's all downhill from there. Like it was mentioned before...a new CFS2 install for rhumba's mesh. Rami's install guide. Bingo!
After seeing your album pictures, well, these would be pretty hard to pass up.
Where will these be uploaded?
Dave

Sorry for the delay. Lots of real world duties and responsibilities injecting themselves these days.

I have decided to add two additional fields to this first installment; Pulau Sangihe (Sulawesi-Utara province) and the rework of Dilli way over on Timor. Wait til ya get a load of Sangihe- the surrounding are awesome- an active volcano at both ends of the island- beautifully modeled by Rhumba's mesh and sporting a nice new LC coat of paint. So far I only have the runway laid in. Will do the ground texturing and object layout tonight. Hopefully Dilli will just be a slide over a few hundred yards project.

Shouldn't take more than another 24 hours or so.

Here is the new and improved Sangihe so far- still need to lose a few remaining rice paddies at the near end of the island (looking south):

I have the unzipped package pretty well pulled together.

Still need to do a readme.

Its coming- grudgingly: Currently doings masks for sangihe ground poly. Getting ready to paint.

Cheers,
Chris

I am calling Sangihe done and will hold off on Dilli until the next package release. I'll get this first little pack zipped up and ready for posting- sometime tomorrow- whoops, I mean later today!:d

Thanks Skipsan,

UPDATE: Just finished refining some of the layouts- there were too many miscellaneous ship objects- trimmed them back to save on things that need to be downloaded and added. Finished tweaking all of theLandClasse values. Currently finishing up the readme- very tedious. Then I'll put the GSL together.

Its coming :icon29:

Chris,
in the pictures in posts 25 and 26, it looks as if the shoreline runs across the mouth of two rivers. I've not noticed this before with other scenery pictures, so it may be one of those things that's always that way, but I thought I'd mention it anyway in case it's something that's easy to fix,
hope that helps,
Ro

Yes, Rohan, your eyes do not deceive you. Because of the way that G2K works- unless you plan very, very carefully ahead of time, and have lots and lots of spare time on your hands- the waves at the mouths of the rivers are necessarily going to be there. You will notice a few cases where they are not. I will try to avoid it in future. But in the case of the current crop- it is not something that was easily avoided. I use the word avoided rather than fixed because it isn't a mistake, just an unavoidable compromise! Hehe. Sorry.:d

MR DEI 090912 Pack is ready for downloading!

Which brings me to my main purpose for visiting: The pack is ready for downloading from my web site!:icon29:

Just click on the "MaskRider Home Page" link below my signature image and then click the "NEWS" link. Full instructions and links to other required add ons are on that page. The page is also reproduced as a readme.doc in the zip.

I expect lots of feedback on this one. :d

Read the NEWS page carefully- you should find everything you need there.

Cheers,
Chris

Chris,
OK, thanks for taking the time to explain that - I'll try to be more observant in future ...
regards,
Ro
