Hello all,

Flying Stations is pleased to announce the next Canberra export packs is out now for download. This pack focuses on the Australian GAF B.Mk.20, Swedish Tp.52, Rhodesian/Zimbabwean B.2 and Ethiopian B.52.

All models feature a new 2D Stores Release panel to allow easier dropping of payloads and drop tanks, along with autopilot, improved 2D panel night lighting and more realistic bomb dropping intervals. Firing rockets and gun packs are also fitted to some versions. This is in addition to the usual host of parked part features and repaints you've seen in previous packs.

Head over to our web site for full details and screens:

Happy flying,

Cheers War Horse, it's taken me long enough to crank this one out, but hopefully it's worth it. I've tried to make improvements and tweaks with each pack, the main one this time being the Stores Release which I personally have found very handy in taking screenshots from the outside.

Once all packs are complete I will re-issue the earlier ones with these features (free of charge of course to existing customers!).

ATB,

Steve

Steve,

well timed, had some cash to splash. Downloading now. With my rig running again will surely get round to ejoying this once I'm up'n'running again.

Now, that's support. :salute:

Indeed it is, Ijust hope that Steve gets the same in return, he is one of the very last remaining FS9 developers, whilst I feel as he gets even better, he will inevitably move on to FSX, if we support him now we can maybe delay that as long as possible. Maybe Canberra's ain't your thing, but his next one might be and it might be FSX only, wouldn't that suck?

Jamie

Steve, I just posted a minor issue on your forum. :wavey: You'll need to redo the aircraft.cfg for the clean B20.

Aaargh! Many thanks WH, fixing it now. For those that d/l'd it already, immediate re-issues will be sent so check your email.

OK, bug fixed! Thanks for catching that, WH, I owe you. Re-sending your downloads now. Ed, you just downloaded it seconds after the new file went up, so you should be fine.

Jamie, many thanks for the kind words and constant support throughout these (seemingly endless) packs! Yes, Canberras are not everyone's cup of tea, to be honest I do them as much for myself as anyone else, being mad for them, but trust me, the end is in sight with only two more packs to go and then I will give them a rest I promise. Then on to pastures new; seeing as I still don't have a brand new machine capable of running FSX yet, I think the next project (already planning it out) may well still be FS9 :) The show aint over yet, folks!

My pleasure. Now that we've sorted that, it's time to grab your keys, choose your chariot, and get airborne!

Looks like another gem Steve, thank you. I need to find my way over to Flying Stations this evening and pick up the packs I don't have yet - you KNOW that I'm another Canberra nut from past dealings.

Hi Andy,

oh yes, I know your Canberra madness very well, and appreciate it very much! I think you will certainly enjoy the last pack of the series...some nice little gems planned for that one that should peak some interest, even in those not that familiar with the type. But before that, we have the B-57A/RB-57A pack on deck next.

Hello Steve,

I have a little problem with the VC view
There is a solution to the cleaner VC glass?
Very milky!

Any idea?

Thank you!

Regards,

Zsolt

Well, i mjust say even if i am an FSX user, i am more than willing to fly it as a port over.... Oh, and steve, could you PM me your specs so i can take a look and see what i can do to help.

Funnily enough it worked better for me than the older, more opaque grey texture I was using. I'd be interested to hear if other also find the new texture too 'milky' - if so I will return to the old standard. My advice Zsolts, is to make a copy of the normal glass texture and rename the vc_glass.bmp (I think that's the name).

Cag, I'll send them over tonight, but off the top of my head, the biggest issue is that I am on a single core machine still, running an Nividia 8600 card. Not too bad for FS9, but from what I've heard I should not even attempt X on this rig.

Steve,

you are entirely correct, don't even try to run FSX on that rig, it will implode and turn into a pile of sardine topped micro pizzas with a side of Gigabyte fries. It's not a good Sim anyway, you'd be wasting your time, utter rubbish, the pictures you have seen are propaganda, professionally done in a wharehouse just south of Landsend.

Also, Mr. Navy, paws off, he's ours and we intend to keep him, we have a small army of well trained Poodles wearing orange and brown spandex Y-fronts and armed with Bonio cannons guarding him. :d Don't ask what they use for artillery, you wouldn't want to know!!

;)
Jamie

PS. was to late to test it last night so can't comment on the glass as of yet, not to worry, I can tune it to my own tastes anyway.
