Canberra Exports: Fire & Ice pack out now

LOL, massive lol. Now, where's that army of poodles gone off to? Honestly, canine security is not what it used to be. Any chance you can arrange for an army of bikini-clad Swedish girls to take over from them, mate?

Hello all,

well in my haste to fix the immediate .cfg issue in the B.20 clean model last night, it seems I did not catch all the errors. I need to replace the air file and corresponding .cfg lines for the correct clean air file (this is something WH pointed out in the beginning!). The soonest I can do this is tonight, so any potential customers, please hold off until later this evening. I will of course do a re-issue (again, sorry) for those of you who already downloaded it.

Sigh. Not entirely sure how I messed that folder up so much! Anyway, hang tight, the fix will be made ASAP.

No probs Steve, will try tomorrow, no rush. ( I actually mean it, believe it or not, lol.)

Steve sorry, they've been assigned to me, I need protecting from the moon-butter people, evil bar-stewards that bunch. Heck my missus even understands the need for them.

We have some Mankini clad hairy ginger Highlanders spare, sporran included (miniature of coarse to fit in with the tartan Mankinis), would they do?

Jamie

PS. If your unsure what a Mankini is, check Wikipedia for bikini, halfway down the page, just under the rather spiffy looking monokini (humana humana woof woof)

Lovely piece of...research there, thanks for that assignment, Jamie! Perhaps not the mankini part mind you. Anyway, good news, packs are sorted, links sent out again, hopefully we're all happy now. Any problems please report, the Aussie B.20 clean seems to be the usual culprit, but should be sorted now.

I may never figure out what Jamie said, but I do know one thing. You make good cranberries, Steve. Thanks again for your hard work and support.

Going to get 'em now, Steve. Thanks for the great sets.

The B-57/RB-57 sets have been the ones I've really been waiting for. :jump:

Cheers, Don, thanks for your support and interest, same goes to everyone else behind the Cranberries. Tip of the hat also to SOH mods for stickying this topic :)

USA versions...next on deck and hopefully coming in to land on your screens soon.

Steve,
After finally getting a chance to play with the new canberra, I'd just like to say THANKS!!!! I'm having more fun with this thing and at $5 Dollars, it doesnt get any better :) I cant wait to see your USA version come out. I'm putting my money together now in anticipation :) Thanks Again!!!!
Scott.

Funny you should mention Chuck Yeager and the B-57; I just finished reading the new Osprey book on the B-57 in Vietnam, and it was a really good read. I also did not know that Pappy Boyington was a B-57 navigator in Vietnam too. Those 57Bs really saw a LOT of action and are very much unsung heroes of the war. Tons of trucks and materiel bombed at quite a high cost, yet they are overshadowed by the F-105s, B-52s etc.

Thanks for your support and I'm really glad you like what you see so far; the best feedback I can get is that you are enjoying both the models and price. All I can say is, if you liked this pack, please go and buy the others and learn more about the Canberra. It is a magnificent international workhorse, a record breaker in its time, and faithful to the end. My all time favourite aircraft without a doubt.

I should warn that I am not currently making the B-57B tandem versions. That is for another day; as this series focuses on the bomber canopy 'goldfish' bowl types, so you will only get the B-57A/RB-57A in the next pack. That said, I am planning some pretty snazzy versions of the B-57A to be included along with the others...watch this space.

Whilst on the subject of the B 57 any chance of a South Vietnamese paint scheme, I can email you photo's and piccies if your interested.

Down the line if I make a B-57B I will happily do an SVAF scheme.

Andy, maybe not a 'hot ship' but if Yeager rated it, that counts for a lot. From what I read, sounds like those pilots really threw her around on those attack runs.

Hi Steve, any chance if some South African Canberra's (With goldfish canopies)

Just look at my avatar! ;-) :D

You know Sean, I came this close to doing a SAAF T.4 for inclusion in the Fire and Ice pack, then at the last minute I canned it. I still have the model mind you, so if you are interested in it, let me know and we can work something out. The other alternative is I can simply release some SAAF repaints for the RAF T.4 from the Tugs and Trainers pack instead.

One thing; do you know if SAAF T.4s were equipped for a bomber role? I have never seen locally modded underwing hardpoints, but often wondered if they had internal bomb beams fitted.

SAAF Cranberry, want one of those? Nah!! Why would I possibly want one of those after collecting the entire series to date, that would just be silly. ;)

Jamie

At the end of it all I'll have to release an 'Complete Owners Club' award or some such, for those exclusive few...perhaps with the incentive of receiving some of the odds and sods models that never made it to a pack.

Which reminds me, I need to get working on my long-planned promotional competition to go along with the series. All I'll say for now is, get your digital paintbrushes ready ;)
