Hello all old and new Canberra pilots!

We're pleased to announce the next installment of the ongoing Canberra series for FS9 is ready for download at the still princely sum of $10.00 USD from the link below. This pack forms the fourth in the series, following on from the B.1, B.2 and Bomber Power packs recently released, and covers the T.4, T.11/19. T.17 and much-loved TT.18. The models all feature the same quality you've seen so far, along with working winch gear, opening hatches, bays and more. You can download the new pack at the link below:

Pilot's Notes are available in PDF from the main download page, and an ongoing support thread has been set up on our forum here:

Repaints will be coming out very soon via our web site, as will a paint kit. Thanks to all for your continued interest and happy training!

Steve

Best $10.00 this year!!

Got my download. Thanks and it was only $10.00 - a very fair price for the qualtiy of work done!! Take care.

Ed

Thanks a lot, fellas, nice to know you're getting on well and are pleased with the price. Slightly more on this one, but a fair amount of work went into these given the more varied nature of the types. The TT.18 is fun from a practical sense of things, but I think my heart goes to the warts and all T.17. Something about that ugly mug that wins me over :)

he-he me too; strictly speaking it wasn't a 'Trainer', as in it didn't actually
train the crews wot was flying it; it was actually more an airborne ECM threat simulator.

I'd love to get this pack (for obvious reasons); but last time I did an on-line purchase my card got cloned and burned!

Anyway I can purchase via another route that don't involve on-line?

Well, I suppose you're right Pete, it was a little more than a trainer in many ways, a pretty useful old girl it would seem. I'll send you a PM about a doing an offline purchase.

Lol, I know what you mean, Tom, sometimes this forum moves at the speed of twin Avons at max revs! (Now, for all of you who've been doing your homework and reading your pilot's notes, you should know exactly what RPM rating that is!)

Thanks for the sticky.

**UPDATE - the first repaints are now ready for download here:

Motormouse,
For what it's worth, I feel your pain. I typically use cash to purchase pre-paid debit cards just to avoid such eventualities (they're available at pretty much most retail outlets here in the States...not sure about overseas). Never had a problem making any online purchases with them, and if in the unfortunate event some dirtbag does get a hold of the card number, they'll only be trying to make purchases up against a pre-paid debit card with a $25-50 limit.

BTW, Steve: love the Canberras! Excellent VC and dynamics! So far I only have the B.2 pack...but really looking forward to some of the more obscure marks (Swedish Tp52, etc)!

I think we've all been burned by online purchasing at some point or another. I've had my account compromised by Nigeria and eastern Europe before. Real pain in the posterior. As I told Pete in a PM, I am set up to handle offline deposits too, so for anyone not keen on Paypal, please PM or email me via my main web site to arrange that. I've done a couple so far and they've been fine.

Next pack -well, it's an export pack, so expect coverage of African, Swedish, Australian and some more South American types :)

Maybe that's why I get so many offers from Nigeria to contact them to receive my money. :icon_lol:
Thanks for the great products, Steve. Looking forward to the next pack. :ernae:

Wholeheartedly agree. And why I just had to add this one to my collection even though FS is still having fits, downloading now.

Good on you, Jamie, and everyone else for keeping the ball rolling. While I love raspberry ripple as much as the next man, there's something about that impossible to miss black and yellow striping on the TT.18s that I love too. A lot of that probably comes from growing up with them flying overhead! Them and the T.17s and dirty old 100 Sqn birds.

Let me know how you're getting on, would love to see some screens from the collective group.

Sneak peaks of the next pack - Canberra: Exports 1

Hello all,

here are some sneak peaks of the next pack in development, so far the Aussie GAF B.Mk.20 and Ethiopian B.52 are ready to rock:

B.Mk.20 A84-233 in Vietnam:

took some hits on that last run:

back in safer climbs: A84-229 near RAAF Edinburgh:

...and back in hot water again, this time the Ethiopian B.52 with heavy battle damage:

but made it home (unlike the real thing...) to re-arm the gun pods:

In all honesty, the gun pods are most likely inaccurate; while the Canberra B.52 series could carry them, we don't know for sure they ever did. Still, in the world of FS, why not spice things up a bit!

Cheers all,

Steve

I think they are just stock, actually! I did download the Ethiopian Airports pack over Simviation I think it was, and the photo was taken at Dire Dawa, Ethiopia, so its possible the designer reworked the ground textures, but I'm not sure.

Will you do that variant which has the cockpit off center and in its own bubble? And is FSX-Nativeness still a thought? Non the less, she looks like a awesome birdy!

Well I can answer both your questions in one swoop; if I do make a fighter canopy version, it will be an entirely new FSX native build, which means a higher poly exterior and VC model and FSX-native coding so we can iron out the few bugs that the FS9 version had in X. I was also toying with a PR.9 for X if the interest was there.

For now, however, the series will close with the last bomber canopy packs, of which two are under development at the moment, including the first true B-57A/RB-57A version for any version of FS (unless I am mistaken!)

ATB for now and thanks for your support and interest guys.

Steve

BTW, I just took a look at your web site, Jaggyroad films, wow, what can I say! VERY impressive stuff; I really liked 'Moment in Time'. Hats off to your team. I am often a Johnny Come Lately to FSX stuff, but if anyone else hasn't been over there, seriously, take a look at their portfolio.

Will all these beautiful ladies have a possibility of becoming FSX?

And thank you for the comment about Jaggyroad, will let the crew know!
