Captain Keith's Adventures pack

Hi,

I'm sure that someone on here has already posted re this package, but search facility is disabled, so I'm posting again.

I can highly recommend these adventures, now freeware and available in the Avsim Library [ ckap_free.zip ].

Well put together, great scenery in countries I don't fly in at all usually.

Just one point, I can't complete the 'The Dig' in Series 3. I fly off runway 18, stick to a heading of 200 for about 10 miles but can't find the dig site that's supposed to be there.

Anybody help on this - I love these ' search and rescue' type adventures, but throw my dummy out of the cot if I can't finish 'em.

Ive flown the Capt Keith Adventures and just redid "The Dig". I don't think it's there. You can find the clearing and maybe, maybe, the remnants of where the airstrip was. Also did a search thru the various bgl's and could not find AP31 which is the private airfield.

I'm thinking it was inadvertently left out when it was packaged up for freeware.....or, we have to conjure up one heck of an imagination.

If a purchaser of the original payware pkg could be tracked down, we might learn a bit more.

Thanks Dogknot,

As you say, the clearing shows up, but there's not much there.

The texture file shows a temple which I think may be part of the 'Dig site', but it doesn't seem to show anywhere.

Likewise, as you say, AP31 is nowhere to be seen.

Shouldn't complain as it's now freeware of course and despite the flaw is great fun to fly.

Regards........Stuart
