Nice! Should be a great plane for touring about in.

Will the US Navy livery work on the float plane version or will that leave the floats untextured?

I JUST NEED TO CONTACT ONE OF THE ADMINISTRATORS AS THE ALPHA CESSNA JRC-1 BOBCAT ISN'T DOWNLOADING , WHEN YOU CLICK DOWNLOAD IT SIMPLY TAKES YOU TO PICTURE OF THE AIRCRAFT AND THEN ENLARGES IT !!!!
NO DOWNLOAD OCCURS , BUT I THINKS THE COUNTER AT THE SITE COUNTS IT AS ONE AND IT SHOWS ANOTHER DOWNLOAD HAS OCCURRED.

HOPE YOU CAN FIX THIS AS THIS IS ONE OF THE AIRCRAFT I AND MANY OTHERS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR !!!

For Jagdflieger, a JRC-1 with floats

The USN livery for the JRC-1 won't work with the floatplane version. The textures areas are all olive drab.

But it's easy to fix, so I just uploaded this version of the converted Alphasim Cessna JRC-1 with floats.

She'll be great four touring all of our great South Pacific and Dutch East Indies scenery.
 
Yeah, they're all pretty sharp, but i'm kinda partial to that plain, olive drab Army dress. Looks like something that would fit well in any theater. :guinness:
 
If I am not mistaken, that was the first aircraft Sky King flew on his TV show I grew up watching. I think he named it the Songbird. As a little boy, I had a crush on Penny. I loved watching that show.

I will have to do some online investigations. I know the first plane looked like those AT-17s. Seems to me he was flying a turbo engined plane at the end of the TV show series. Maybe a Cessna of some type.

I loved Sky King and Ripcord with Larry Pennel and Ken Curtis. Anybody here remember Cannonball? Bones
