• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

does anybody know when the Captain Sim 9.99 sale is? Should be the next days or am I wrong?
 
It has always been random. Sometimes they send out email to existing customers and sometimes they don't. I have not heard anything from them for the XMas season yet.

From my recollection, it usually falls right at Christmas for 24 hours but the exact day/date is as Sieggie pointed out, random from year to year.
 
I would check on a daily basis their Twitter account so not to miss the next sale...

I already have the CS L-1011 (exterior only), and I'm still using the JustFlight Tristar cockpit merge. Very nice and low FPS, but I'd like to check the CS version now, it's said to be quite alright, pretty good actually, both systems and looks...

I think I have the L1011, B52 and the 757. Actually I want to buy the 777LR and F, the 737-200, -100 and the F, and the 767-300, -200 and F. But this is crazy and I think I will only buy the 767.
I like Captain Sim but their support is the worst crap ever. I wrote 2 tickets and never got an answer.
Very poor costumer support! I had to help myself
 
I have four of their titles and have found the quality to be quite good. After my experience with number five, I have vowed never to buy another one of their products. After numerous attempts to install the product and several tickets submitted to customer service, I finally requested a refund--denied because their records "showed the product has been installed". I eventually resolved the matter through my credit card company.
