Got the C-130 full pack, the 767-300 base + E-767 and the
weather radar yesterday.

Going to take some serious reading to get the 767 airborne
from cold & dark which I prefer :)

I bought the 727 and all it's expansions and the 767 Base pack. I am very happy with the 727 and my jury is still out on the 767.

I just tried to add a repaint to my 767 and the ACE said it was still in demo mode. How can I fix this so I can have it fully activated?

You can download a replacement ACE.exe file from their support site. Log in to your account at the captainsim.com website and click on support. Navigate to the knowledge base and do a search for this problem...you should be directed to the download.
 
Hi all confusing myself here, got the 757-200 base pack for FSX (Pro line product) and the Block F upgrade, but when I try to run the Block F installer it says the base pack is not installed :isadizzy: Not sure what's going on unless the pro line base pack includes the Block F upgrade?

Can anyone offer some clarification?
 
Got in there under the gun this afternoon and grabbed the 727 family for FSX. I like the old iron.

The 727 is so nice, flys smooth on landing, love the VC.

My 1st short simple flights in the 727 --and 767--- were great. Glad to get them at such a price, thanks to Captain Sim. Thanks to all posting.

You should really buy the LDS 767 and try it out. All you should have to do is put in your speeds and altitudes into the FMC and hit VNAV. No switching between things manually or guessing. It should just work. The real life pilots aren't up there pressing random buttons, at least I hope not. :icon_lol:

I don't see how so many errors got past CS's testers. In fact I wonder if they test at all. :kilroy:

The CS community forum does not seem to be reporting VNAV problems. Perhaps cs is deleting problem messages. Have you issued a trouble report to cs ?????
 
I caved in, and bought the 727, my first tube ever...

but it's very nice, thank you for the offer, Captain Sim!

Been flying the 27 now and glad to have it once again. I used to have the Legendary 727 in FS9 and really missed it for FSX.

The 727's really nice.
I've had a couple of test flights so far, the autopilots going to take a bit of getting used to after the default 737.

I noticed that the VC's setup for the CS weather radar, just above the throttle pedestal, but the gauge isn't included but is defined in the panel.cfg.
I'll have to get that after the holidays now but at least its 9.99 Euros anyway so no loss not getting it in the sale.
 
With all the issues im having with the 767 I'm really kicking myself for not getting the 727. I think the 767 has too much going on for me, I know nothing about FMCs or computers doing everything for you.

The 727 is a true 'iron knuckles" airplane. Back in the day before you had fly-by-wire and computers......

what really irks me is it runs like trash on my system and is causing an error with fsuipc which makes it unusable and the FMC wont work right, and CS doesnt do refunds, If I paid full price I'd be really mad!

Do you have the latest FSUIPC installed? I know all of our systems are like snowflakes, but the 727 runs really smoothly for me, and definitely no FSUIPC errors.
