SOH-CM-2023
Just received an email from Captain Sim for a 24 hr sale on Jan 29. Everything on sale at 9.99 euro.

The network lines will probably melt from overuse.

What is 9.99 euro in USDollars.

even the c-130? thats insane, considering i dropped original price on all the c-130 stuff i ought to get an email too!

9.99 Euros = 13.988997 U.S. dollars [ I googled this so I do'nt know how current it is ]

Rich

I put an exchange rate gadget on my desktop. Thats pretty darn close, I'm showing $14.01 on mine. I'd try the Space Shuttle for $14. I've been interested in that one.

A lot of their stuff is on sale right now, anyway... :kilroy:

The space shuttle is fun but short lived IMO.

I enjoyed the hell outta it for 15-20 reentries then once I mastered the process havent flown it since.

But for $14....:icon31:

Thanks for that Euro conversion.

Also thanks for correcting to the Dec 29th date.

Help, does the sale time that begins at roughly midnight GMTon the 29th equate to 7Pm EST on the 28th?

Jim

:wavey:

Hmmm, so for just over $13.00 smackers I can get the C-130 FSX Full Package deal ??

What about the 757 FSX $13.00 smackers too ??

That's going to be a 'gimme". I'd be surprised if the servers stay up. :isadizzy: :costumes: I'm going to be there!

A couple of questions in my mind:

If one attempts to purchase and is unable to fully download within the time period, will the purchase be voided?

OR

If a purchase is attempted and the download completes beyond the time period, will the full, before sale, price be applied? I sure would not want to be charged full price, thinking of getting the sale price.

I'd have thought it would be critical that the financial transaction be complete on the day - which might be an issue if it gets really busy. Downloading would be less of an issue, but if so many people are using the site that you can't physically load pages, then it you won't be able to buy things anyway.

Can someone tell me, does that mean its 4 pm est here on the east coast of the usa Monday That it starts ??

Bill

I thought CONUS was GMT-5 (East Coast) to GMT-8 (West Coast), so it would be 1901EST/1601PST that it starts?

I was asking a similar question above? My thought was that at Midnight the 29th GMT is equivalent to 7PM EST on the 28th. Would like someone to confirm.

My conclusion is based on the fact that the Eastern zone is 5 hrs from the Greenwich meridian and that it we are 5 hrs behind in local time. So at Midnight the 29th we are 5 hours behind the day before the 29th or the 28th. 24 - 5 = 19 or 7 PM.

Any time experts out there to confirm, please?
