CaptSim 737-100 in September.....

Looks very nice, although having got used to flying on airliners with turbofans seeing them with the old turbojet on makes me think they look underpowered!

As I know, like with first exterior model of B-52, he well use default VC.
Yes, but for sure, not good idea to put only exterior for me too.

For exterior, we already have the tinmouse2 witch do an excelent job. What we really need is the vc!

At some time I flew every version of the 737 from Basic through 400. The 100-200 series were the Austin Healey's of short-medium range airliners. Quick handeling, fairly bare bones and lots of fun in the old fashioned analogue (Kentucky windsge) sort of way. Very different animal from the EFIS birds with the CFM 56 engines.

Someday, somehow..... T

My favorite 37 but to release w/o a vc, what the heck is that. N TY I'll wait on that one. There are too many good aircraft with cockpits in my library. :wavey:

LouP :running:

Weren't the early -300s with the all analogue flight deck still in that spirit?

I mean, JT8Ds are all and nice, but you just can't operate them economically anymore. CFM-56s are way better suited for that nowadays.

Oh well, at least we still have Jet-A price free flightsimming.

Please let me know if im talking out of line here, but I simply dont get it! As both a customer and a developer, I dont understand releasing half a product, just to charge more for the other half later!? I have seen this more then a few times recently, with the B-52, C-17, 777, and now the 737. I just dont get the logic, and I dont like the trend. I know its because its a big project, but if you cant handle the size of it, then dont do it!

I don't like the DLC trend in the gaming industry either, but as long as there's enough zombies paying for every piece of a puzzle nonetheless, the practice won't vanish.

Capt Sim is a business and every business needs cash flow to survive. If it means devs have to do half now, half later, to keep going then im happy to support them. I dont like to buy half a product - but as long as it ensures they keep making great products then so be it.

It's a business model that seems to be working for them. Sorry if you don't like it but no one is making you buy it.

We all have the option to vote with our wallets.
