Carenado C-185 ?

Does anyone know if there's a way to change the color of the light in the VC or is it somehow part of the model?
I love the model but can't fly at night, the red light just drives nutz. I suppose it's like real life but it's awful. If I owned a real one, that's the first thing I'd change.
Thanx! :)

Just change the name of the fx file in aircraft.cfg under [Lights] and find the vc fx and change it to a default one like the Cessna172.

Here's what I did:

From the "lights" section in the aircraft.cfg

//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing

light.0 = 3, -4.65, -16.75, 3.35, fx_navred85
light.1 = 3, -4.65, 16.75, 3.35, fx_navgre85
light.2 = 1, -18.45, 0.0, 6.40, fx_beacon85
light.3 = 3, -20.9, 0.0, 1.20, fx_navwhi85
light.4 = 4, -0.9, 0.0, 1.2, fx_vclightcarenmen //fx_vclightc185
light.5 = 10, -3.7,0.0,2.3, fx_vclight //fx_vclightc1852

Note lines light.4 and light.5. I used the vc light effect for Carenado's mentor, which is a more pleasing green color. If you don't have Carenado's Mentor you can also use a default vc light effect (like Roger mentioned). If you'll notice, I remarked out Carenado's C185 vc light effect with the // command. You can also use the ; to remark out items in both the aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg files.

Well, Dave & Roger, it's been a long time since you posted your replies and I appreciate them! :)
I forgot that I had asked about the VC lights and didn't get a notification. Somehow I just stumbled upon my post, read your inputs and it fixed my issue with the red lighting VC's! To this point I still didn't know the answer to that annoying little problem. I ended up using the vc lights from my T-210 :)
A delayed thank you to both! :)
