Carenado Caravan

yep...should be interesting for sure.

Matt are you running FSX now also?

I just switched this past week. Think I've spent a bundle of planes already. Being very picky though right now. Carenado is one of the ones I want to have all for FSX also.

No, I had it installed for a few months, but dumped it due to poor performance on my rig and will stay with 9 for the forseeable future; I do follow the FSX developments, though. Some very nice offerings these days.

ahh okay. Well I did pick up a good unit at Best Buy, it may not be the zipper that some are running but I'm getting 25-30 FPS on it, as I added a ATI card and its rather nice. I got the ASUS unit....very nice. The price blows the rest away compared to what it comes with. Think just the tower was $699.00

Well, we just bought a house, and get married in November....plus, my beta testing for MAIW has me rooted in FS9 for a while; my next rig will be an all-out purchase with a budget of around $3000, so I should be able to do a dual-sim install and enjoy both..but that is at least a year away unfortunately; I love the 'feel' of FSX, and there are soooo many addons that I want for it. I guess patience is a virtue. The real life multi-engine and instrument rating, and CFI come first....

Have you guys ever heared of the PM system of this forum? :d

Back on topic, great news about the Carenado Caravan. That might turn into something special.

I'm very excited about this upcoming plane. I love flying the default one, so I am sure this one will be even better!

Go Carenado...I wil buy this plane as soon as it's released!:wavey:

Now, the hard part, I have to wait until it's released :-(

I don't think I've ever had anyone complain about a small conversation between two peeps.

Thats a new one....

I wasnt trying to be difficult I was just pointing out that there are other threads already on this subject ...I should of used a smiley or I shouldn't of mentioned anything at all..sorry :wiggle:

I'm kind of "ho hum" with this one from Carenado and think the default Caravan is actually pretty nice compared to its FS9 counterpart. Just my opinion.

Now where's that F33? :jump:

yes I agree and don't even fly that one. Wonder why they picked that one rather that something that hasn't been done yet, like a Vtail Twin Bonanza.

I like this direction...cause just maybe,
there could be a Piper Malibu Meridian in the future just a thought:wiggle:

Caravan Amphibian would be cool?

It's been reported a few times that they only develop aircraft that they have access to, so that could be the reason.

While I am sure this will be a great addon, I am only interested in an amphib version, so here's hoping.
