Finally picked up the 172. Nicely done!

I sure had trouble purchasing through Carenado's site though. I don't particularly care for their new ordering format. I've never had trouble before thru their site, but their "bank" kept rejecting my card(s) as invalid.

Finally switched to fspilotshop.com and made the purchase in under 2 minutes. Maybe carenado's bank was asleep.

Anyway, very nice to have the C172 onboard. :ernae:

i bought it from their website on the day it was released, and i still haven't received a valid download link. It's been 3 weeks and no response (i wrote them using gmail, yahoo, my own company's e-mail, to ensure their mail is not marked as spam). It's a shame, since i really wanted this 172

o well, i might have to re-buy it once it is available on the Flight1 site. Or hopefully Carenado straightens out their purchase modules...

Finally, finally... I picked it up. Got tired of waiting for Flight1 to carry the FS9 version and picked it up at FSPilotshop.

Wow! It really is everything that I hoped for. Might actually be my new favorite ride. Even if it is a spam can!

Carenado was very helpful and provided me with a valid download link. So now i finally get to fly her around! Yup, this 172 is very well made. Great flight characteristic. Btw, have you guys noticed the "soft shadow" trick they used when viewing outside the window while on the ground? It's very cool and i haven't seen it before.
