Carenado is having a 10 day sale-50% off of FS2004 aircraft

Don't you just hate it when this happens after you've purchased them all!!!
Nice gesture as always.

Many thanks for this HU! :salute:
Was keen on the Bush-C185 for a while, always waiting for a sale like this...

Glad I could help, mate! :wavey:

Now look at this amazing beauty:

As far as I can see (coming back from my first short test hop above Skagway), the only thing I could improve about this grace is giving her a decent 2D panel utilizing a screenshot of her awesome VC.
Sorry: I simply can't help fiddling on my aircraft - even though they seem to be just perfect...

Cheers,
Markus.

Yes it is a very nice looking bird! Glad I picked it up.
A 2D panel would be great!! Hope you knock one out and share! (hint hint) :icon_lol:

I did notice the aircraft (tundra tired version) develops quite a bounce, especially on dirt landings.
Found a fix in our library by sctybdy. He tweaked the cfg for bounce and added some drag to the float/amphib versions plus an all models aileron tweak.

I would like to see some further tweaks for the bouncing problems from our gurus. I believe its in the compression/damping entries.

Apparently the FSX Aircraft discount is only on certain airplanes. I was going to purchase the latest Bonanza V35, but don't see anywhere in the checkout where any discount was applied.

Which FS9 Carenado aircraft would you guys recommend?

Cessna 206, 185, 172 are my 'most flown', closely followed by the Piper Dakota, Cherokee 180F and the Archer II.
Probably the best package IMHO is the complete C206 version.

I would agree on your top 3 "most flown" list and that the best overall package is the complete C206 version (CU206G Stationair 6 II Regular, Amphibian and Cargo FS2004). And as you also delicately put, IMHO.

Im pretty sure by the "feel" of things that the C185F Bush pkg will soon be in contention with the C206 as a fav.

I am so tempted to buy the C182 Bush Package....for $9.50 and get 4 models! But I don't know if I would fly it enough to justify spending the money on it. Deb gave me the green light to buy it...but I think I need to sleep on it a day or two.

Markus, if you're serious about whipping up a 2D panel for the 185, I'd hand over the cash now. As it is, I've already got the Cherokee, 182Q, 182RG, Mooney, Bonanza, 210 and 206, and if it wasn't for a lack of a 2D panel I would get the Arrow, 185, Saratoga & Seneca.

All of them. The only ones that I was ever slightly disappointed in were the early Bonanza and Archer for FS9.
Already have the T-34, 172, 182R, 185, Cherokee, Archer, Bonanza.
I plan on grabbing the 152 and the 209 pack. If I had enough money, I would buy any that I don't have. They are worth every penny. Some of the best payware available IMHO.

Count me in agreement as a "NEWB" to the Carenado Fleet. I've admired these models quite a while from afar as I don't fly GA very often. But the 50% OFF hook got me last night.

Spent about an hour and a half over the 49th split between the C185F Bush and the C206, then went back and picked up the 172, the 172 skier and the T-34!

Looking forward to tonight!
