Carenado Mooney

Hi All

I have gone back to fly the Mooney after almost a year now. I appreciate that this was an early product in MSFS and that there were bugs. Also there have been various updates like the avionics upgrade etc that will have affected the 530 set up in this aircraft. However I have found some fairly basic issues. I removed everything from my community folder and just ran the "default" Mooney. However I find that none of the light switches work also the height selector is not working as I remember it before. Wondered if anyone else has been back to use this one?

I don't have it, but there's a thread on the official board for the Mooney. I'm not sure if you'll be able to find any answers, since it has 2200+ posts.

this one was originally only offered through the marketplace but is now offered at the Carenado Store
Maybe that means you can email them directly to see what they say about it? Carenado has always replied fairly quickly to my inquiries...........

Thanks Tom will have a look - nothing came up on my general search.

Apologies for wasting your keyboard minutes chaps! I’m using my yoke for the first time in months (usually fly fast jets with HOTAS)…. All the light switches on the yoke were left in the off position so counteracted the physical pushing of the light switches in the Mooney with the mouse. It’s amazing how much muscle amnesia sets in when you’ve not been in the Sim much. I also noticed that I had assigned my “aileron trim” switch on the yoke to “rudder trim” and you were about to get another thread started about the Mooney’s tendency to yaw in the cruise… All is calm now …. nothing to see here ….
