Im reading Kamikaze Hunters by Will Iredale, a fascinating book and i cant recommend it enough, so ive installed the Flying Station late war Victorious and im practicing carrier ops in the far east out of Trincomalee, problem is, i forgot to set up the Real-air Spit for carrier op, if anybody could supply the cfg entry, it would save further embarrassment.

I've never found the Spit particularly forgiving when it comes to carrier ops. I'd just done this paint and took it for it's first trap..

I need to figure out to set up my aircraft for carrier landings in FSX. It was easy enough in FS9 with the Carrier Ops pack.

I tried landing the Cessna O-2 on one the other night. I got it on the deck, just couldn't get it stopped before I'd run off the bow.
 
For the best carrier experience: the Etendart IV, the Clemanceau, the RFN gauge and AICarriers. All freeware.

Having the carrier moving will help and any additional headwind coming over the bow will help more;)

The carrier was moving the other night and easy enough to land on, I just didn't have enough room to stop the Cessna. IJN Shinano
