Cat Fishing

The B24 Guy

SOH-CM-2022
Hi All,

I was going through the CFS2 Aircraft library today and came across the F4F-3S Wildcatfish.
I fixed the prop and added a VC, tweeked the cfg. and airfile.

Does anyone know who built the Model?
I think it was Gramps but my memory is not the best.

Thanks,
B24Guy

Not sure but may have seen it a simviation way way back.

/Still wating for the OH B-24....

Thanks Guys,

The package in the CFS2 downloads has be run throgh MDLC and that made the prop non-functional.
This might have been an FS 9 MDL. Not sure if Gramps made a CFS2 Model.
Anyway I though I would send the CFS2 MDL to Rami and have him fix the package.

I will send a PM to Gramps for his OK on this first.

Regards,
B24Guy

PS If it stays cold I may get the B24 done before Spring. Some projects just get out of control.

Yup, Gramps built that one as an extra for the old FDG2 FS9 donationware pack. I'm not sure who did the CFS2 version of it...if it was gramps or someone else. It's been several years and I don't have any of the original project files for the Wildcatfish anymore unless they're hiding on an old hard drive somewhere.

If Gramps doesn't stop in here or return your PM, as one of the FDG/FDG2 crew I'll give my blessing that you can go ahead continue your update work.

Hi All,
I uploaded the fixes but forgot the airfile.
Here it is.

Rami, can you please include when you up date the package?

Regards,
B24Guy

The B24 Guy,

I included the airfile, and the package is approved, and is now in the library. :medals:

Thanks! The prop will make a virtual world of difference. I had this plane for awhile, but didn't investigate the the prop problem yet. I can get it installed into my CFS2 now and do some cat fishing.

:icon29:

Cheers,
O
