• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category FSX Scenery

Description: For the CBI Scenario (China / Burma / India)
1 arc/second Mesh

Coverage:
see images in the package. It covers the classic area around the hump and a bit more.

Caveats:
- Some airfields may need a height correction.
- The edge of the mesh, where it meets the default mesh, might show visible fall offs


Mesh errors / anomalies:
The mesh covers over 760.000 square kilometer and I checked as good as I could. If you spot an anomaly (e.g. holes / spikes), please report back at

I downloaded the file, and added it to my "The Hump" folder. Slowly all needed files are coming together.
 
[SUB]I have FSGlobal 2010 for my mesh, I am wondering if yours is more detailed. I have no idea what 1 arc second means. :dizzy:[/SUB]
 
CBI-Mesh

Roger-Wilco-66, thank you so much for posting your CBI-Mesh... I've installed it, and it is GREAT !!!... I have been (slowly) developing CBI airfields... I started with CBIX as a base, then researched pictures and vids, then used GoogleEarth to locate hard stands and berms... So far I've been able to get Misamari, Tezpur, Jorhat, Chabua & Kunming fairly close (in my opinion)... If I knew what I was doing, it wouldn't have taken me three years... LOL

Again, thanks for the mesh... looks GREAT
