Stepping back a bit...

Now, figuring that a microwave has what, 600W minimum now days and it takes what? 30 seconds to start the popcorn popping? A cell phone battery is probably 3.7V and 300mAh capacity. So... if your cell phone battery could generate 162 amps of current, it would only last a second or two before depletion (or bursting in to flames)?
