Good evening friends,

does anyone have the scenery Celle ETHC?
I just have one that is very simple and consists just of one sceney bgl (ETHC_FS9.BGL)
But if I remeber well a long time before there have been a scenery done for the
Berlin Airlift which included the airfield of Celle ETHC.
I had these files, but lost them all. And I am not sure about that ETHC was apart of it

Best Regards

Michael

previously available at flightsim, as per a prior post here: https://sim-outhouse.org/sohforums/threads/fs2004-german-army-airfield-celle-ethc.165759/

understandably, flightsim is down, but doing a little digging: https://web.archive.org/web/2013090...02&PHPSESSID=b647b4ea747ee65d0c34b11edb270bd7 it appears, a version of ETHC Celle was also available at Stefan Deiters' site: http://etnw.info/

while the site has been updated, why not contact Stefan directly to see if he can send you a link to a copy of ETHC

Edit: I just checked the other post, and can understand why the flightsim link proved inadequate! never mind that! so do get in touch with Stefan...

cheers!

Celle is a simple airfield anyway.

Hi Bernard,
it seems to me that at the screenshot there has been more than two hangars
I will try to find back the screenshot i have in my mind. In my head I see some installations in the background
which where blue or green

It seems that Ian Elliot was involved in the project and that he did the scenery for ETHC
I join tw sceenshots I found on the net.
There is one basic files ba 04, but at last the has been more as that. The bad thing is that I loose them

Best regards

ah dommage, quoique, Wiesbaden je serais preneur aussi LOL
Celle is interessting for two reasons I almost mentionned.
Concerning the air lift Celle airfield was important as it was situated just at the western end of the middle air corridor
to Berlin.
Former Luftwaffe airfield, it was taken over by the RAF. At the time of the airlift it was maily used by the US Air Force,
but still remained under RAF command until later it was given back to the "new" Luftwaffe.
The scenery I have merrits really a bit more.

Merci Bernard
I got it
we should not write political threads here and this right
But I have tears in my eyes when I think about how Berlin has been saved from sowiet overtaken by the good will and courage of the Allies.
And when I see what are the relations to - - - I will not go further on.

Best regards

Michael

Ps and not to forget the great help pf american and british helicopter crews during the great flood in Hamburg in february 1962

Hi Michael,

We're not shortsighted here, and most of the staff are history hobbyists. Talking about the importance of the Berlin airlift, and what it did to protect (part of) Berlin is not politics, it's a history lesson. Relax! ;)

Hi Priller
what I wanted not to continue is to write about the perspective that it seems not possible that such an human operation as the Berlin Airlift seems possible today. Not possible by the american people but by the actual politics. There germany seems to be hated in a way what is-------

Best regards

Michael
