serge. :salute:
Just wanted to see if anyone else encountered this. On approach to Niagara Falls for a sightseeing tour (at about 1500 ft and 90 kts), I saved my flight. As I continued, I decided to make an approach and landing at one of the small islands atop the falls. As I approached the intended island to land, I hit an invisible obstruction which cause a crash of the aircraft. When the flight reset to my saved approach point, the helicopter systems and engines were off and rotors not turning. Apparently the reset also reset the aircraft back to a cold pre-starting state. Due to low altitude, and rotors not turning, autoration was out of the question, so I conveniently hit the Y panic key and slewed the aircraft to a higher altitude thinking that I could try restarting the engines. I called up the Shift 1 key and selected Ready to Fly, but the aircraft did not respond. All systems remained off and rotors were still locked. Needless to say, I immediately bailed out! Any one else try this?
Thanks
Idea's?? How about the Canadian Coast Guard please.
