I recently upgraded to Windows7 professional. Then I found out that when I opened Cfged, that it did not load my gauges from the Gauge File in CFS2. Everything loads up but a list of guages. It appears it is having problems reading this file. I get the picture of the panel but empty gauges. Does anyone have this problem. I have a 64 bit windows7. Is there an adjustment I can make?

Braveheart,

Try setting W7 to open CFS 2 as XP. While I've got my W7 computer set to do so, I can't for the life of me remember how I did it. Too late at night I guess.

I'm sure someone will post instructions on how to do it shortly.

Hiya Braveheart,

It might be that cfgedit just won't do the trick anymore. You might consider upgrading to the payware FS Panel Studio. Its been well worth the investment for me. I am still using XP Pro myself so I can't say for sure that it would solve the problem.

FS Panel Studio

Thanks MaskRider

I purchased FS Panel Studio and it works perfectly! As you said it is well worth the money.

Glad it worked!

Yep. When you need FSPS, you need it.

I recently added all of Mike Stones AC to FSX. FSPS came in very handy as many of the called-out gauges are not necessarily present in FSX.

I needed to upgrade to the FSX version of FSPS but it was no problem as I still had all of the keys and such from the original purchase.

Cheers,
MR
