CFS1 CFS2 FS9 Vehicles & Buildings by Edmundo Abad

Hi Ravenna
I have a PzKw 35 model completed, but not textured. It may be a bit heavy on ploy's)
I am going to try something different with the textures.
Cheers
Stuart
PS
I have a Char B in the same state (but a bit heavy on poly's as well)

Hi Stuart,

A lot of engagements in 1940 involved small numbers in concentration, particularly the Char Bis. In open country or with low poly vehicles in the vicinity your tanks might not make too much of a hit on FRs. Don't suppose you have a Renault 35 in your duffle bag?!:adoration:

Use in Mission Builder

Great addition! A question: what would be needed to use these wonderful bgls in Mission Builder? Just a dp file and a name on the appropriate list? Or...Giorgio

Hi Giorgio,

Your first post! ;)

These items are for placing either within scenery you've made, such as an airfield or military setting. Or for adding to scenery that's already there. Sorry these are not destroyable, so no need for a DP etc. And I can't remember if you can just place bgl's or api's in MB??...someone will!

There are many scenery programmes you can use such as Airport 2.6/2.10, Abacus Ez-scenery, Airport Design Editor and thers. Earlier progs will handle api's and bgl's, later more modern progs will use bgl's and Fs9 mdl's. These were originally made for CFS1, so are great for CFS2 as they have a very low poly count with small textures, but are still accurate and detailed. Edmundo did a superb job.

Cheers

Hi Chaps,

I think many of the buildings in this package are already covered in our CFS2 inventory. If you see something we don't have and may be useful, I'm happy to convert it to a GSL destructible object which can be placed using Mission Builder.

Of course this would have to be done with Edmundo's permission.

There are probably a lot of useful vehicles, but I'll have to leave them to the vehicle experts, particularly if you want to have them moving.

Cheers,
Kevin

The simple answer is that only the API models could be used in CFS2, as permanent scenery objects. None of it can be used in the Mission Builder. FS9 .bgls don't show up in CFS2.

As Kevin says, they would have to be decompiled and rebuilt as a CFS2 explodable .bgl
