CFS2 Convention

What about a CFS2 convention...here in Seattle...so I dont have to pay airfair? Everyone can come from around the globe and exchange tips and tricks and show off various installs. We can meet at the airport, wear funny hats with tassles, and visit the local house of ill repute...take out orders are more expensive. Of course, there would be the need for computers so we can figure on laptops..not the greatest for this sim but it'll have to do. Dare I say it, we can even exchange software....no, no, no we really shouldn't.

All those in favor?

Opposed?:173go1::ernae::running::bump:

PJ; Couldn't we forget the furry hats and whatnot and just all go to your house? That way we could afford "take out".:ernae:

We can hire a few of full motion simulators, plug them together and run a CFS2 multiplay furball contest.

PJ, just make sure you invite your neighbors just up the road from Microsoft!
Also, wait until Jagd gets back. I think his permanent address is up in that area.

Made it back! I'm out at Fort Lewis now, south of Tacoma, and it might be fun for all the denizens of Puget Sound to all get together sometime. A couple of the staff members have been talking about just such a link up too, so I'm sure we could get more than a few of us together.

Perhaps Boeing's Museum of Flight at Boeing Field would be a good place to link up.

Secret Password

You guys are going to need a secret password.

How about for the first person...radar reports bandits in your area, the second replies...flak! looks
like it's going to be a rough ride. :icon_lol: :ernae: :mixedsmi:

Get Together

I'll get with Smilo, PRB and a few of the other Puget Sound residents and see what works. I guess we ought to give ourselves a few weeks lead time to arrange something convenient for all of us.

I would be more than happy
to drive to Seattle from Sequim.
there are a few up in the FS9 forum
that I'm sure would like to meet up, too.
the Museum of Flight sounds good to me.
just let me know so I can get approval from the boss.
actually, I think she would be happy
to have me out of the house for a day or two.

Jag, Let me know what I can do to help. I will contact the Boeing people a call and see if I can get a group rate. This should be fun.:salute:

Sounds like a plan.

What is best for everyone, a weekend or weekdays?

I can probably arrange for any day, but my guess is a weekend would work for most.

PJMack, Let's try and nail down a date with in the week so that you can make arrangements with Boeing.

Once we decide on a weekend day or a weekday, we can refine the actual date. Anyone interested, please post your preference for a day to meet and then we can forecast the date.

I'll respond to this as soon as I have contacted Boeing.

I am good to go Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays,
with Saturdays being the best.
I will need a month notice if a weekday is decided
to request vacation time from work.
I am not going to miss this!
I owe Jag lunch.
