CFS2 not working

Tried installing cfs2 on my win7 machine. When I hit the exect button nothing appens; what should I check?

Check to see if you have Windows update KB3086255 installed. If yes. Uninstall it and never let it install again. KB3086255 broke compatibility SafeDisc and SecuROM. This effects CFS3 and FS04/FS9 as well. If you want to keep KB3086255 you need to use a No CD.exe for CFS2,CFS3 and FS04/FS9.

You will also need it for Windows 10 if you ever upgrade(?) to it.
Additionally, it will help to custom install all of your flight simulators into the root C:\\ drive, NOT in Program Files, or Program Files (x86).
