cfs2 to cfs3

can cfs2 files be convert to cfs3 aircraft and skins ect. to work like a programs to do it.some time ago someone did one but I do not know who it was.or fs2004 all something like that

It's not that black and white. Some skins work after converting to .dds format thanks to similar mappings (bubbletop P-47D and Ju 88 series by K. Malinowski, P-51B by FDGv2, P-51D by A.C. Wai to mention a few) and sounds work, but that's about it.

And it is possible to get at the model if you don't have the original model file, but it's definitely a breach of copyright if you don't have the author's permission, so the admins will be doubtless pleased to hear nothing on how 'tis done!
