Chris, I converted several of your missions to the BOB expansion, during testing.
I sent them to ya, didn't I ??

And The new BOB expansion will amaze You..

Hobbit, I don't think you did. But the one's I sent you are outdated. I reworked almost all of them to make them more historically accurate. Give or take some things I added in for fun. But if you wanna release them with BoB, please do! Just make sure to give me credit, if that's alright with you.

I'll be working steadily throughout the weekend getting these missions tweaked up and polished up.

How do you like having twelve planes in a formation instead of eight?

I think that's kind of a cool feature. Just need to find a way to have multiple types of aircraft in player formation
 
Just as a matter of interest, what historical info is there on multiple plane types in one formation? I'm not sure even on the LW side where I assume while there might be in their "armadas" there weren't in the squadron or flight formations.

What I meant to say is having the same plane, but just different codes assigned to it, ie twelve different letters skins in a player formation. I've been working on a multi-skin feature.

Started testing BOB expansion mission today with multiple aircraft with different ID markings. so far looks good.
Is possible to do this, Set up basic mission in the MB then opened it and with notepad changed the aircraft formations to have 12 (for german) aircraft and all different ( pilots) within the (squadrons) I am experimenting with.. I have set up a group of 36 aircraft in one Squadron, same(group ID number in the Mission text, also It works fine too.

I May experiment with up to 200 aircraft in this for the large formation missions.. this Might be a easier way to build this type of large formation mission overall. Then I am presently using.
So Far this works very well.

Unfortunately what you can't do is have the player formation with different codes, they are always the same as the players.

The only work around is to have the player a/c as a solo entry and then fly along with an ai formation. That then means that you can’t give them orders, which isn’t necessarily a problem, depends on the mission type.
