CFS3 book!

Well bugger me! All the work we've all managed to do without even reading the book! :icon_lol:

WOW.. the Book of the game, is that the same as the book of the movie stuff??
I gress there a little late, All the inside info is found here for free, Thanks to the
great crew of simmers we have here..
Off to read the book of the game..
LOL..

I saw this years ago and didn't bother then: don't think I'd bother now!

I like this bit "Inside you'll find ... Analysis of every flyable plane in the game" That won't take long - flies like a bag of nails, looks like a bag of nails. Stock models, don't you just love 'em? :icon_lol:

CFS3 Book

The same fellow wrote the CFS 2 Book for anyone thats interested. For some of us that are just starting out these books are helpfull. :salute:

:salute: Think I'll write a cfs3 E book, Including all the great stuff here, that can be had.Not to get rich , lol , ( not gunna happen) ( Beer money would be nice, Its rather warm here in oz and we drink a bit !!) )but could help the game spread a bit. I would need your help of course. What do you blokes think.???

Just a quick question:

To all CFS3 pilots and aces, Is it better to get this book and read about all the different flight procedures (blah blah) and everything else in this text, or is it better to just get your joystick and feel the controls of the game?

You know in all flying you have to get up there eventuially instead of just reading about it.

I spend much of my money on books about airmen and aircraft. That goes from biographies of WW2 pilots, the famous and the anonymous, to studies of particular aircraft and books of colour profiles. Inevitably you learn the tactics employed with individual aircraft types, as well as the unit tactics used by each side - except you learn it from the horse's mouth.

I'll stick with that.

I'll second that. Some biographies are more informative than others, but these men actually flew to fight. Aircraft monthly and Flypast are useful sources too.

I would think collectively and using alot of already existing material ( written and pics) some here could produce a nice little book with much more detail including modding. Make it an e book and make a bit of dosh for the cause.
