CFS3 City textures

Nice work Clive; now how about Europe!! :icon_lol: I assume cfs3h2os.dds effects not only rivers but the sea; if so that's a pain as it can be changed or even eliminated, but people like their sea surf!

What are the textures you are using? Can one use WM scenery manger OK with the BoB install?

ive combined , - bobs - johns, and even added some out of 4.7 ---plus ........charlies , and it looks great for me

The base city textures are pretty generic so are ok everywhere. Individual cities could be treated in the same way as London, There are some nice Paris textures that Alain 'Alain95' Dignoire made and which are in the BoB install already.

I haven't tried modding the shoreline texture as it affects the sea as well. Can you let me have a look at what you've been doing to it please?

WM's manager is based on 4 seasons. As mentioned before BoB has only one - summerish - which covers July to October so wouldn't work.
On a similar vein I'm surprised that no one has taken OFF and modded it for WW2 yet. That would be an interesting project.

Got any screenies please? :)

All I have been doing is taking cfs3h2os.dds and playing aeound with the colour in paint.net.

Re OFF. Wouldn't it require some serious modifications to make it WWII? I assume one would have to strip out all a/c, weapons, vehicles, most airfields and more, + change the gsl in major ways???

All above work is stunning.

Realise the thread is city textures (not my field); so wish to apologise to the forum, in particular Clive, for posting above inappropriate general comments.
Sorry, just trying to help.
