CFS3 + multiplayer how to do?

I'm aware that MS no longer hosts a gaming server for CSF3, but have been told that it is still possible to fly online in multiplayer. Any advice?

You are more than welcome to join any of the online games posted at the top of this page in the sticky thread called ' Post CFS3 IP Games Here"

You only need to be running XP [as of now Vista user's havn't been able to join online games ] , you need to have your CFS3 updated to 3.1 and 3.1a .And your CFS3 can't have any mod's -clean.

Start your CFS3 - Mulitiplayer -Join private game -type in the host's posted IP - enjoy
 
can anyone help me find out how to get the updated versions the 3.1 or 3.1a cfs3 updates. i do have a firepower add on version which gives me added planes and alot of missions.

YOU CAN GET THE 3.1 AND THE 3.1A THERE FREE
MAKE SURE TO ADD 3.1 BEFORE 3.1A:ernae:

If you want to play online make sure you use the firepower utility and set your CFS3 to 'stock' or you will get a miss match.
