CFS3 not shutting down properly

Just got another newer temporary rig after my back up laptop hard drive crashed. The specs are [ HP Pavillion dv7,AMD PhenomII N 870 3 core 2.30ghz,6GB ram,Win7 home premium 64 bit,ATI mobility Radeon HD 6370, DirectX 11 ]. The main problem i,m having is that CFS3 still runs in the back ground after exiting game. I can see it with the task manager as : cfs3.exe*32 . CFS3 is located in program files (x86). Will not work correctly or even update in C: Program files/microsoft games . Each time i start cfs3 a pop up appears and states CFS3 did not shut down properly and do i want to learn more.If i select no the game loads and plays without a problem. I was told that firepower, updates and such would not load to program files(x86) but i haven't had that happen so far. Never had this shutting down problem with XP or Win 7 32bit . I've searched here in the forums for a fix but haven't anything to help me. Tried every option but after 3 days i've run out of ideas. Has anyone had similar problems ? Thanks for any help.

My Win 7 64 bit does that if I exit from the User Interface by any other method than Ctrl+Shft+Q.

If I'm in the game, then exiting by the menu or by Ctrl+Sfht+Q will successfully terminate the process.

Thank you Sir. That fixed the problem. Guess i should of asked sooner . It would of saved a bunch of time. Thanks again...:applause::untroubled:
