CFS3 Spitfire cockpits

ps. the BoB2 pit is very nice indeed and better IMO than all of the above...

Clive where did this aircraft come from? BoB2, payware, freeware?

Thanks Clive, I think its the only CFS3 Payware I don't have. Time to fix that

Lewis, I think your'e confusing this with the Just Flight cfs3 BoB addon, this is a completely different flight-sim product. :)

Clive I am nearly always in a state of confusion, LOL! So, is BOB II a CFS3 add on. If not, is that cockpit (the last photo) in the BOB add on or BOB II?

To Lewis and Poosaka,:wavey:

BoBII is a seperate sim, not an addon for CFS3. That last pic is from BoBII and IMHO the best Spit I've seen. The gauges aren't the best but are being looked at. The latest version is 2.09 but 2.10 is in the works.
The guys at www.shockwaveproductions.com have been improving this sim for ages. Great bunch of helpful guys in the BoBII forum, but then I've noticed that all the Flight and combat Sim forums have the best people.:applause:

re gloves

Hi all

Yeah sorry to say but I'm responsible for the Rather strange looking gloves.:kilroy:
In my defence I have to say that this was the first model (the pit not the plane) I have ever made and the first time I have used Gmax.
When I first did the pit I used bare hands on the pilot but It was pointed out to me that would'nt be realistic which I agree.
By the time I got to finishing the pit I'd kinda lost interest as summer was starting and I live at the beach so it was beer n barbie time:ernae:
So I didn't spend alot of time on the gloves...I was trying to go for a leather look but just didn't quite get there... I have to admit they do look a bit rubbery :icon_lol: oopps

Anyhows it is still a work n progress and Pat, Capt Winters and the ETO crew have tweaked it nicely I'm sure it will be improved as time goes on.

Cheers

Ross

Hey Ross, Thanx for the heads up...
Methinks that any attempts at 'biologicals' in GMAX must be quite a challenge...
...and IMHO you did quite the bang-up job on this project, especially for a 1st time!!!:medals:
At least you've given us something to work with too and with the kinks ironed out this effect will only add to the immersion... and that's what its all about, eh?
I can't help but think of some other attempts at people/crew in sim... I seem to recall an instance when having gotten airborne and under way as it were, I happened to look starboard only to be quite shocked and dismayed at the strange apparition suspended over the copilot's seat... (!)
Well let's just say it didn't QUITE pass for human!
I only hope you'll keep experimenting... (in between Barbies 'n beers 'a course!):applause:
