I have been noting on recent threads, that all CFS3 and OFF are running on C:\ drive. Is this critical to the running of CFS3\OFF, as I think I have formatted C:\ drive to small for the data :banghead::banghead:.

My Drive is configured as : Local Disc (C: ), total size 4.87G, and The Halls Of Air (E: ) total size 436G . It was (E: ) I was intending to install CFS3/OFF on.

Thanks in anticipation.

This was written in 2005, Before Vista was even dreampt about. So the solution is contained for XP, Vista ... Got me, Vista64 .... Double Got Me.

I am running OFF from my D: drive. Other than crashes to desktop caused by something in my particular setup (solved, mostly, I believe), it runs fine. In conclusion, I think you can run OFF from a drive other than C: I have XP, BTW, but should also work with Vista.

I installed to
E:\CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields
and
D:\Games\CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields
in the past no problem.

It DOESN'T matter where you install to, as long as THE FINAL FOLDER NAME is CFSWW1 Over Flanders Fields

Many thanks for the quick replys friends, set my mind at rest for ph3. BTW, I am running XP Pro.
