CH Throtttle Quadrant?

big-mike

SOH-CM-2022
Now i have enough from my Saitek Throttles.
It`s impossible to calibrate them, the axis have their own lives.
I tried it with FSUIPC and without,i unplugged them and so on.
Tried also the tips from the Saitek Site----nothing.
The question i have, is the CH Quadrant a good choice for WIN7 64bit?
Thank god,i have the CH Throttle USB but for my 4mots i would like to
have a Quadrant and others than the CH are too expensive for me.
Thank you
Michael

It's ok, I have a suspicion I'm not getting proper calibration as I seem to miss the top 0.5% of throttle and at 0 it can be a bit bouncy in that it isn't completely stable at 0. However, overall I think it's good. It works fine for all the aircraft I have and I like the flexibility of having 6 levers and all the buttons.

I have the CH throttles on my Win7 64 bit machine with FS9 and FSX. It comes with "control manager" software, but it's so friggen confusing that I uninstalled it. You don't need it anyway, as you can calibrate it through Windows. I don't think you need FSUIPC to calibrate it either. I just went to Windows > Control Panel, game controllers, then calibrated it.

yep, no need for the CH control manager or FSUIPC. In fact the default calibration seems to work best.

Also you can swap the coloured knobs around to set it up for 4 throttles, 1 prop, 1 mixture or 2 throttles, 2 mixture, 2 prop. Which is nice and it clamps to the desk to stop it moving around.

I also have the CH hotas style throttle and that has been retired to the closet since I got the throttle quadrant.

I've had mine for a couple of years now, and it has always worked flawlessly with XP, Vista, and now Windows 7 64-bit.

I calibrate mine using FSUIPC.

This one i use momently, also i reactivated my CH Flight SimYoke and put all the Saitek controllers into the cellar.
Even the Yoke seems to work more sensitive than the Saitek did.
After all these years passed by,the CH Poducts seems to be the best for flightsimming.

I used to have an old Ch Flightstick back in the 90's and it was much sharper in calibration than the thrustmas FLCS that I got later on, which is why when I went for the full rudder, throttle, stick setup a few years ago I went to CH rather than Thrustmaster.
