Hi Ted

I was a (real) Champ owner for years, N1666E and since I no longer fly in the real world I fly LIC Champ in FSX. It flies beutifully.

Dick

And so do I, but give it another month or so and there's a surprise in the works. a fully native FSX w/Acceleration series of Champs, including the Tr-Traveler.

From Tom and Rob at CR1 Software: :wavey:

WooHoo Excellent news!!!

Hi Cazzie,

I know this is very early on, but will the champ feature 3-d gauges in VC? Also will it have the kind of eye-candy LIC treated us to in their champ, like a jettison-able door, disco ball and removable engine covers. Good on you for starting this project. I have always preferred the Champ to the Piper Cub. :salute::salute:

It will have all the bells and whistles of a true "Polygoon" model...:jump:
(There are many of them out in the payware world already, but without anyone being aware of it...)
I hope our new model will help Pointy fans over the sad loss...

Anyone know of a good Aeronca Sedan for FS2004/FSX? Some local guys have just finished a 10 year restoration of one and I'd like to have a virtual model of it in my sim. :)

Here's a pic I took of it on Saturday..

:)

Will the wheel pants be removeable?
You wanna drop your pants? You must be one of those bush pilots. (Insert face palm smiley here)

BTW I'm definitely looking forward to the FSX native Champ. I really enjoyed the FS2004 version. It really is made to just jump in and fly. :)

I've always wondered if we said "no" in response to all the "Will it....?" posts, and told a fib... would those poeple not buy it when released???

Will it have 7 rivets or 8 along the oil filler cover?
Patience guys... all will be revealed and 99% will be happy ( we know you can't satisfy everyone)

It WILL have two wings, one (very nice) engine, two seats and look like a Champ. Wheels, pants, skis, floats, coats of many colors, and only 5 virtual gph.

Otherwise... you'll see.............:icon_lol::icon_lol:

Rob

With this particular comment, I'm not interested in the Champ..yet. When it gets released, it gets released.

For now, WELCOME BACK ROB!
