• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Change of the Guard

good luck, Jagdflieger, :wavey:I think when you come back, the Ki44 would be nearly ready to upload. The case, I´m mostly interested in the moment, is going to the (hopefully happy) end soon.

Deploy...that has a serious sound to it. Wherever you are being sent, stay safe and do Keep your airspeed up if ya know what I mean. We'll all see you on the flip side.

My best wishes for a safe return, Jagd!

Hopefully, in a near future, all of US soldiers and their allies shall be able to come back home to their families safe and sound.

Let's all pray for the end of all conflicts and a peaceful world.

Cheers!

I think it's all been said, but stay safe Jagd. You be in the thoughts of all the Basement Faithful while you're away.

Thanks for the kind wishes everyone.

I still have to complete my pre-deployment training here at the local base, so I'm not actually wheels up for a while. Like other deployments over the last several years, I should have some connectivity once I get there so I should be able to visit as band width and time allow. In fact, other than when I'm in the field, I'll bet I see you guys almost every day once I get settled in.

I bought a personal lap top computer earlier this year and it is set up for the Internet and it also has a good video card and lots of RAM. I haven't tried to load CFS 2 on it yet, so I've got my fingers crossed that it will handle it. Now I need to find a mini-joy stick if there is such a thing. My only concern is that it has the Vista OS, which has caused me more than a little frustration so far.

Hi Jagd,
Good luck.
Remember keep your head down,Camo intact and never volunteer for anything.
Just come back in one piece.

May the Goddess look after you and keep you safe.

All the best,

Buddha13

Be careful Jagd and make sure you will be back in one piece.

The atmosphere in the CFS2 forums in quite relaxed, therefore I don't expect many problems for Rami.

Cheers,
Huub

I think it's the Taoists who have a saying: "If you meet the Budda on the road...kill him."

Because, you see, "The Tao that can be described is not the true Tao."

So if you happen to run into a certain false god somewhere...you'll know what to do.

Make your own luck.

I hope you are not going into Harms way but if you are my prayers are with you.Stay Safe.
