Beautiful! :jump:

PMDG and A2A are really setting the benchmark when it comes to FSX aircrafts:applause:

Greetings

It looks very impressive and I hate to admit, but much too complex to operate for me.

I hope not, but I guess that is depending your view point. When you focus on accuracy, there are perhaps still some minor things to improve.

I Love the look of it but I doubt I'd ever get the aircraft off the ground with all that procedure, lol!

I've never been a big tube fan, but I got the iFly version of the 737 a couple of months ago on a lark. It looks so complex to get it all powered up and off the ground, but after a little training, some frustrating practice sessions, and some help from FS2Crew, I'm learning that it's not really all that tough to operate these monsters.

I can do a full startup from cold and dark in about 10 minutes now, including programming the FMC. Now that I "get it", it's pretty fun. 'Course, I still take a night off now and then and hop behind a prop just for fun.

This PMDG bird is going to be amazing.

It does look beautiful, I'll probably hold off if/when they do a BBJ variant. The ultra long range biz jet is one area that hasn't been covered yet. I find that most of these overly complex airplanes arent too difficult to fly, most have switches marked 'auto' :)
Other than some learning of the FMC interface and the autopilot, most other systems should be similar.

Cheers

I have a few of their birds and while wonderfully detailed, they are expensive and the activation process is a bit arcane. Great birds though, still debating on purchasing their C-40. With the PMDG bird on final, may hold off on their C-40 and get the new PMDG one instead. I really love the fantastic VC and systems modelled.

Excellent! Looking forward to flying it. Hope it's not going to be a hog like the J41 on my system. I don't see Air Pacific (Fiji), Solomon Islands Airline, Air Vanuatu or Polynesian Airlines in PMDG's dress list, but I'll live with Qantas, Air New Zealand and Pacific Blue.:applause:

I also heard $69.95 - looks like it's worth it to those tube liner fans.

You can order the complete set of manuals for $400. They are the official Boeing manuals that flight crews are given when transitioning to the 737.

Just a heads up

5) You will notice that I have placed an asterisk after the $69.99 price for the base package. This is an initial release price that will be available until the release of the first expansion pack (1-2 months after the base package release.) After this time, the price for the base package will increase to $74.99.

IMPORTANT LATE ADD: Some of the discussion in the thread brings up a valid point. There is some political idiot games taking place in Washington, DC right now. If there is a large scale currency shift as a result- we may at our discretion adjust the pricing. I doubt this will be necessary- but I'm also pretty confident in the level of "dumb" in Washington, DC- so it is worth mentioning.
