i was there on sunday as well..i didnt go into the museum building...my i was with my folks and my dad was tired and grumpy..lol..he didnt want to go in...so we didnt...sure did notice the short shorts on some of the gals though..........i forgot why i liked to go to chico when i was younger......

also..when in sacramento..i would go to use the restroom..i use a jazzy power chair to get around due to my back injuries...in sacramento..id have to get inline with a bunch of non-disabled people to use the disabled restroom that i can drive right into..and then some people are down right rude about me driving in and oout..cause im "slow"...up in Chico..people were 5 and 6 deep for the standard bathrooms (portapotys) yet the disabled bathroom ( one) was open everytime i needed it....sure is strange what a 100 miles and a small town attitude can do

The Chico Airshow was alot better than the Redding one in year past. "Rest Areas" that have seats and shade. The air museum was free and the building had A/C. Hey Bails to sit on at the flight line. It even looks like that let people bring in EZ-ups in. Props to the Chico Airshow:ernae:

Whoever else finds the Neptune borderline sexy, raise your hand. :)
The P2V is my first love. I carried quite a few cups of coffee across the wing beam when I was in the Reserves. Coffee go-fer and bow observer were about all I could do because I was too junior to qualify for aircrew. :) I thought that was the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum (MAAM) P2V until I noticed the different Bureau No. on the tail. They both have VP-67 markings.

and the guy at chico was telling me that this one is painted with latex house paint because of california laws regarding paints.....

Thanks Daveroo,

those pics were really great :jump: Wish the Warbirds over Wanaka Airshow was held more often than on every even year.
