• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

"Chief" and "Buster"

That is a great pic NC. Chief really shows just how gentle and loving a Rottweiller can be....it's their nature to be gentle and loving, unless they have very good reason not to be. Then watch out....that guarding and defensive streak in a Rotty is a mile wide and 2 miles thick.

yeah that is like my cousin's pit bull, Madison. She looks like she could be a mean dog but really all she wants to do is give love and lick your face. I have petsit her a few times. She is one of the most gentle and affectionate animals I've known. She often cuddles up with the cat and they clean each other.

Yes, Chief has a mean streak. He "protects" me from all those bad airplanes that fly overhead. Drives him crazy! He can spot a contrail long before I do, and he runs out in the yard, barking like mad!

Oh, and if he gets a whiff of a possum in the area, that does it too. But he never catches them!

That's my protector!
