How did we miss this one? I just saw a news clip of not one but two Chinese astronauts walking in space! I hadn't even heard that the Chinese had made another launch. Apparently it was well televised in China. Just how many manned space flights has China done?

Apparently this is their 3rd mission........

It seems that only one astronaut left the capsule and as he opened the hatch.......it set off a fire alarm.
SO........this isn't just their 1st space walk....its also the 1st
Chinese Fire Drill in space !!!:mixedsmi:

LOL!

Thanks for the update, luckydoag. Somewhere along the line I missed a flight. The Chinese have come along way in a short time, but I think they're useing proven technology to accomplish their feats. Still my hats off to them.

luckydog, that was funny, i don't even care! :costumes::icon_lol:

joking aside though, the chinese have come a long way in a short time, they do have reason to be proud of their (recent) achievements, in space and on earth.

Quite a high-tech achievement for a country that was still building steam locomotives like these just 10 years ago. :)
